Ball, Tummy Time and other fun baby stuff

Hmmm, might be time to put the bouncer up.

Dunning has been doing some tummy time on the big ball o' fun and likes to watch his Praise Baby DVD while he does. He also likes to play with it while he sits up. Tummy time has been getting better - timing it is key. You can't do it when he's too sleepy or just eaten, so you have to find a time when he's happy, in between feedings and had a nap. So that's like 7 a.m. He's started to make this horrible sound when we put him in his high chair when we eat, so last night we put him in his bouncer. He's trying to sit up in it now, so it may be time to put it up. So sad, the bouncer was our greatest ally for such a long time!

4th of July

Yesterday was the 4th of July and we had brunch with my mom's club at Metfield country club and park. Dunning got to swing for the first time. We were supposed to go swimming at the pool there, but decided we'd rather go to Steph and Brad's and hang out there and swim. We only swam for about 30 minutes after looking at Chelsea's pictures from Italy and Europe, but he had lots of fun. He was kicking his legs almost the entire time and smacking his fists on the crab.
